The mission of Warren Road Elementary School is to foster lifelong learning by nurturing students’ growth academically, physically, artistically, socially, and emotionally in a supportive and challenging environment .
Our Story
Established in 1970, Warren Road Elementary is a public school within the Richmond County School System, offering an Arts Infusion program that enriches students’ academic experience through integrated arts instruction. Originally serving nearby neighborhoods, Warren Road operated as a traditional community school. In 2009, the school launched an arts pilot program to boost enrollment and expand opportunities for students interested in the arts. Today, Warren Road educates more than 600 students in grades PK–5, with approximately 10% enrolled in the Arts Infusion Program. Admission into the program is based on prior academic performance, positive behavior and character, and district selection preferences. Many students continue their education in Richmond County’s magnet and specialty arts programs. Located in Augusta—Georgia’s second-largest and oldest city—Warren Road benefits from a rich cultural backdrop. Augusta is widely recognized as the “Garden City” and is home to the world-famous Masters Golf Tournament.

College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI) is Georgia’s statewide accountability system. The CCRPI assesses how well students are prepared for college and careers, and ensures that schools are focused on improving achievement among all students. The index measures student achievement on indicators such as content mastery, student growth on progress, subgroup performance on closing gaps, and various areas including Lexile performance, attendance, and other academic based measurements. Schools earn CCRPI points based on indicators that vary by grade and school level and align with measures of college- and career-readiness. Each individual component score is on a scale of 0-100.
